For investors
The ask, and what it buys
This is a pre-seed concept seeking $50K — not a fund, not a product, not an operating company. What exists today: a siting thesis, thirteen published candidate locations, engineering targets, and the discipline to label every number.
Pre-seed round sought (concept validation)

Proposed locations under evaluation

Use of funds
Feasibility — ~60%
Hydrology, interconnection, land, and environmental screening for one lead site.
Community — ~25%
Structured conversations with the Indigenous communities and municipalities nearest the lead site.
Disclosure — ~15%
Audited engineering baseline and publication of every finding, favourable or not.
Where this goes
-
Now
Concept & geography
Thirteen locations identified and published; engineering targets set; this site is the venture’s main artefact.
-
Next
Pre-seed — $50K
Fund one site’s feasibility work: hydrology, power interconnection, land, community conversations, and an audited engineering baseline.
-
After that
Feasibility → pilot
If feasibility holds: permits, community partnership agreements, and a first small build. If it doesn’t, we publish that too.
The pipeline
| Site | Region | Power | Initial→target MW |
|---|---|---|---|
| Baie‑Comeau, QC | QC | Grid (Hydro‑Québec) | 3→25 |
| Sept‑Îles, QC | QC | Grid (Hydro‑Québec) | 3→25 |
| Churchill, MB | MB | Grid (Manitoba Hydro) | 3→20 |
| Inuvik, NWT | NWT | Remote (wind + BESS) | 3→10 |
| Tuktoyaktuk, NWT | NWT | Remote (wind + BESS) | 2→8 |
| Norman Wells, NWT | NWT | Remote (in‑stream hydro) | 2→7 |
| Dawson City / Dempster, YT | YT | Remote (run‑of‑river) | 2→6 |
| Rankin Inlet, NU | NU | Remote (wind + BESS) | 1→6 |
| Baker Lake, NU | NU | Remote (wind + BESS) | 1→5 |
| Kangiqsujuaq, QC (Nunavik) | QC | Remote (tidal) | 1→6 |
| Salluit, QC (Nunavik) | QC | Remote (tidal) | 1→5 |
| Kuujjuaq, QC (Nunavik) | QC | Remote (in‑stream/tidal) | 2→8 |
| Labrador City / Wabush, NL | NL | Grid (Churchill Falls) | 2→15 |
Every row is a concept. No land, permits, power agreements, or funding exist. We publish the pipeline because geography is the asset being evaluated.
Questions we expect
What exactly is the $50K buying?
Feasibility for one site: hydrology and water-rights review, interconnection study with the utility, land availability, and initial conversations with the communities nearest the site. Deliverables are published, one way or the other.
Is this an offer of securities?
No. This page describes a concept and a conversation. Any eventual investment would proceed under proper exempt-market documentation with accredited investors, subject to review.
What is the biggest risk?
That the economics do not survive contact with reality: interconnection costs, backhaul, or community timelines could make the first site uneconomic. That is precisely what the feasibility round is designed to find out cheaply.
Why will this still matter in five years?
Compute demand keeps rising; power and water constraints keep tightening; and jurisdictions with surplus clean power and surplus water are rare. If AI grows at all, some of it has to live where the resources are.
Serial capital is not what we need. Skeptics are.
